雖然人們長期以來將海洋生物作為重要的蛋白質來源，但目前大部分海洋資源已過度開發，本課程將介紹漁業科學的基本概念和漁業管理失敗的生態後果，深入了解海洋保護法律和政策，並導入臺灣的案例，了解臺灣如何轉型為負責任的海洋國家，實現海洋永續發展。
