Bethesda公司的Jeff Gardiner宣稱，廢土世界動作RPG《輻射3》最新DLC「澤塔母船」因其
外星科技背景使得遊戲裡遍地都是高新裝備。
比如近戰型的「震盪棒棍（Shock Baton）」，名為「外星噴霧器（Alien Atomizer）」的
手槍；還有「外星粉碎者（Alien Disintegrator）」步槍，一種能把敵人暫時凍住的「速
凍手榴彈（Cryo Grenade）」；此外還有一種尚未公開的大殺器。
除新增各色武器外，玩家還可獲得名為「氙科技專精」（Xenotech Expert）的職業技能，
使用外星武器時會有威力加成，外星武器包括「外星爆炸器（Alien Blaster）」，這種武
器可以再廢土世界找到。
當玩家完成該DLC主線任務後，重遊飛船可尋獲一件名為「外星環氧樹脂（Alien Epoxy）」
的道具，在沒有備份零件的情況下可將裝備的完好度恢復25%，這對高斯槍的愛用者來說是
個天大的好消息。
In Mothership Zeta the aliens have returned and they are not happy. The
mothership answers the distress call sent out by the alien ship at the
Alien Crash Site and abducts the player, making the whole add-on take
place onboard of the alien ship. Mothership Zeta is in orbit around
Earth and the aliens have been watching Earth for quite some time.
Onboard the Mothership, the questline is not completely linear and
features some exploration. You are able to take a spacewalk and you
encounter other abductees, who are all fictional characters from the
Wasteland and Earth's past.
The player is able to return to the ship once the main quest is over
and to use the ship as a "home-base of sorts".
