華納推出了他們第一張專輯『Hunting High And Low』，其中首支單曲【Take On Me】
推出後反應冷淡，但唱片公司對這首歌相當看好，於是換了個製作人又重新錄製一遍，
可惜仍沒有起色。不過當時MTV在美國已經成了氣候，華納的美國公司於是找了位導演，
把這首歌製作成一支一半為鉛筆素描動畫，一半為真人演出的音樂錄影帶。MTV台非常喜
歡，予以強力播放，結果不但點播率超高，奪得了許多音樂錄音帶的大獎，更讓這一首
歌起死回生！於1985年的10月19日登上了全美排行的榜首。
【Take On Me】對A-Ha合唱團有著相當特殊的意義，因為這不但是他們的成名曲，更是
他們唯一的冠軍歌曲。也是莫頓當初加入A-Ha時，他們排練的第一首歌。當時他就表示
，這首歌一定會紅。雖然花了整整三年的時間，這個預言畢竟還是成了事實。
